Marco Solorio of OneRiver Media spends an hour with Grant Petty, Founder and CEO of Blackmagic Design during the 2013 National Association of Broadcasters convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. This video includes 12 minutes of that meeting, covering aspects from Blackmagic Design’s early beginnings (including early codec testing with Marco Solorio) to the latest info on the new Pocket Cinema Camera and the new 4K Production Camera. We also get never-before released information on the various CinemaDNG formats and how they’ll be implemented into the current Cinema Camera lineup. Oh, QuickTime wrapped CinemaDNG format? Yup, that’s covered too. Very exciting stuff!
