With the arrival of the new BMPC, many users have been asking what lenses will be compatible with this camera. The most important thing to consider is that the camera has an active Micro Four Thirds Lens Mount, so you can use commonly available low cost M4/3 lenses with full electronic control.
(Olympus, Panasonic, Leica)

Besides this, the BMPC lets you use a wide range of lenses. You can use adapters for Canon EF, Nikon F, ARRI PL or 16mm cine mount lenses.

This list will focuses on native M4/3 lenses, and it’s just to help you get started on your lens search.  If you would like to add any other lens please let me know!

Extra battery, the pocket camera includes 1 battery. There are generic ones, but going Nikon makes sense.

Thanks for the rundown. I’m wondering if you could let me know if this lens will work on the Pocket:
    LUMIX® G X VARIO PZ 45-175mm / F4.0-5.6 ASPH. Lens

My wife is getting this lens for the Panasonic G5 camera and I was hoping to share it with the Pocket camera when I receive it. I’m mostly concerned if the focus and iris features of the Pocket will work to control the lens.

It will definitely work with pocket since it complies with Micro Four Thirds System standard. The only thing you need to be aware is that the crop is 1.3-1.4 so that lens is effectively 60mm – 236mm so I bit long.

the pocket camera has an active m43 mount so it should talk to lens fine, in theory 😉

Will Panasonic – Leica DG Summilux 25mm f/1.4 ASPH Micro 4/3 Lens work? I never see this lens on any list.

I also ordered my Pocket today. But i am wondering if this lens (Olympus ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 50mm f/2.0 4/3 lenses (not a m4/3)) will work on the Pocket?
