This video isn’t defaulted to 1080, that way more people can just stream it. I recommend downloading the half-a-gig 1080 file, which still doesn’t reflect how great the glass works on the camera!

Oh, and Bring your own music. xD

Canon 85/1.8 — 00:00 – 00:19
Canon 70-200 2.8 — 00:20 – 1:00
Sigma 18-35/1.8 — 1:00 – 2:00
Canon 85/1.8 — 2:00 – 2:28
Canon 70-200 2.8 – 2:28 >

ISO 800
70-200 used at 2.8~4
Sigma at 2.4~4
Canon at 2.8~4

More randomness with my new glass and borrowed glass. Really just kind of smitten with both the Sigma 18-35/1.8 and the 70-200/2.8 II.

They cut together nicely even barely tweaking the mids on the Sigma (they come out much cooler than the Canon, it’s definitely a neutral lens.)

85/1.8 however just isn’t cutting it for me… no pun intended, I promise. I’m surprised how far off it is from the 70-200 even just offering a “Canon” look. I’ll likely have to let it go in search of something more promising.

Also, this 18-35 and 70-200 combo leaves a lack of a 50mm, which is still pretty important on this camera.

Will likely look into the Sigma 50/1.4, and also take a glance at the Canon 35/2 IS again to see how close it comes to the 70-200/2.8, then on to testing Canon CN-Es.
